Passionate about traditional Indonesian cuisine, Chef Sheandy Satria gets to showcase his skills every day at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua’s popular Ikan Restaurant. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Culinary Arts & Hotel Management from the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development in New Dehli, India, he is a rising star on Bali’s evolving food scene.
In the early years of his career, Chef Sheandy had the privilege of training with several Michelin Star Chefs. He also was tasked with creating special menus and cooking for members of royalty and heads of state during his tenure at The Oberoi Hotel, Bali. He believes that Indonesian cuisine deserves greater international recognition. Well-versed in all aspects of culinary operations, he is currently focusing his efforts on introducing diners to the diverse flavours of the Indonesian archipelago through regional food promotions.
