Petung natural water or people around call it ‘Toya Babah’ because the water that comes out of the cliff and the water is bah or falls. This natural water is located in Petung Padang Aji, Selat, Karangasem. The flowing river is the border between Muncan and Padang Aji. This natural water has clear, cold, and clean water like bottled mineral water.
The river area here is not so wide, so visitors or local people have to take turns enjoying the water here. Near the source of this natural water there is a melukat place, but it is very sacred and holy, so not just anyone can come to this melukat place without the permission of the jero pemangku there.
There are 3 natural pools that are formed with a lower pool that is usually visited by people and an upper pool for women’s bathing. Most of the local people visit here, but there are also many visitors from outside Karangasem. They used to bathe, soak, and swim in this natural water. However, visitors are advised not to bathe near the Pelinggih in the river.
