Gatep Lawas is one of the popular hidden gem located in Ambengan Buleleng Bali. The place is named Gatep Lawas because there’s a massive Gatep tree from hundreds years ago near the river, that’s why the locals named it Gatep Lawas. To visit this place it takes 2 hours driving from Denpasar.
Gatep Lawas location is high enough to enjoy the amazing natural panorama around the north area. Since it’s from the natural water springs, the water feels so fresh and unpolluted . The location is very suitable for someone who loves rafting / tubing activities.
The tourist can just take a bath in a natural water spring, take a picture and experience tubing. There’s an entrance fee to visit Gatep Lawas, it costs Rp. 10.000 for the entry ticket and Rp. 2000 for the parking. To enjoy and experience the 625 Meters long tubing, you only need to pay Rp. 20.000 per person.
