Dark and Elegant Culinary Experience at Velvet Ubud

Introduced as ‘A Gift from the Gods’, Velvet Ubud invites the guests for a sensory mystical experience, one of a kind in Ubud. Deep red curtains, plush décor, ceiling adorned with chandeliers and glimmering original art — this new spot is dark, sensual, elegant yet romantic. Matched with its fresh and unique food, devilishly good cocktails, and pulsing after hour music, Velvet ensures that the mood will be as potent as its culinary experience.

The newly opened restaurant and late-night cocktail bar is the brainchild of duo Tatjana Stein and Chef Hiram Rios. Sharing the same passion for music, food, and art, the concept of space is the expression of their passion and energy. The beauty lies in each detail and the harmony that it creates in whole. Each guest can expect a classy and elegant atmosphere for a dating night or up-class social night. It is more than a restaurant or a hangout place in Ubud. It is a late-night place where you can experience all your senses, where you can relax with a strong drink or some delicious wine, great music and food made from the freshest and finest ingredients possible.

The menu fuses Chef Hiram’s Mexican culinary background with the bold flavours of Bali, extending to uniquely delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Even more, its handcrafted cocktails, ranging from classics to innovative creations, will be a good company through the evening. Opens from Thursday – Tuesday (Wednesday closed), 5PM ’till late, Velvet Ubud is one good reason to stay until late night amidst Ubud calm and peaceful atmosphere. Step inside.
