Anantara Uluwatu Welcomes Families in Dewata Penthouse

Perched on a cliff along Bali’s breathtaking southern coast, Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort has introduced a sublime new hideaway for families and friends – the two bedrooms Dewata Penthouse. Cascading down Uluwatu’s dramatic cliff-side in an ingenious design feat, accommodation combines innovation, cultural authenticity and exceptional ocean views. Joining the collection of sea view suites, pool suites, pool villas and the unique one bedroom Dedari Penthouse, the new two bedroom Dewata Penthouse offers one-of-a-kind spacious luxury.

Inspired by Bali’s Rich Culture and Nature
The Dewata Penthouse impresses with a true sense of destination. The thoughtful design honours Bali’s traditional values, natural elements and cultural rituals. Authentic luxury provides an inviting home away from home. The split level layout on the fourth and fifth floors reveals different perspectives and vistas. Ample space allows for quiet time alone and socialising together. Flowing sensory spaces provide a seamless, organic connection between the interior and coastal exterior. Architectural features are crafted from local materials and depict the island’s topography. Expansive glass showcases the Indian Ocean in all its glory. A natural colour scheme reflects the evolving hues of the ocean and Bali’s hypnotic sunsets. Contemporary artwork by local artisans energises the island’s rich heritage, enhancing the design fusion of modern and traditional.

Elevated on the cliff-side, the two storey Dewata Penthouse offers 202 sqm of indoor and outdoor space with sweeping ocean views. Designed for socialising and downtime, the upper-level living space features a lounge and dining area, a bar to chat over drinks between adventures, and a library with books to borrow for a quiet read on a sofa. Stepping through to the spacious outdoor deck, guests soak up tropical island life – from refreshing dips in the private pool and sunbathing on loungers, to snoozing on the double daybed and dining al fresco. On the lower level, the master bedroom boasts a minibar cabinet, walk-in closet and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub. While the second bedroom features twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower. Music can be played with Blue Tooth connectivity and SONOS speakers in the living room and both bedrooms. Guests can stay in and watch movies together in the lounge or snuggled up in bed, courtesy of a Bose hi-fi home entertainment system, a 70-inch flat screen TV in the living room and 49 inch flat screens TV in both bedrooms. Contrasting with the coastal seclusion, staying connected is easy with broadband internet.
