Entering the 220-seat restaurant through a dimly lit maze, guest will be wowed by the green and lush surrounding of the venue where diners can choose between both indoor and outdoor seating.

If you are arriving around 5:30PM where the sun is friendlier and calmer, it is advised to start the experience at its Gramercy Park, an extension of the venue, which is a young and buzzy section complete with its own cocktail and spirits bar resembling a trendy food truck. The staff will show you a list of the selection of drinks they have specially created based on homemade infusions and syrups inspired by the Island of Bali. The nine island-inspired cocktails come with unique names, each is representing the regions in Bali, from Jimbaran to Tabanan and Karangasem to Gilimanuk. Using Bali’s best-kept ingredients, each of nine cocktails features the complexity of the island yet has its own signature taste.

Let’s start with Betutu Old Fashion, taking inspiration from the area of Gilimanuk which are renowned for its Betutu spices. The eastern part of Bali which is the home of Arak Bali is featured in 7 in East where high-quality Arak from Karangasem is mixed with home-made snake fruit juice, rosella tea, pineapple syrup, lemon juice, and ginger ale. And more to sample, including Denpasar Kisses, Jimbaran Bay, Black Sand, Bangli Zephyr, Klungkung Breeze, and Dolphin’s Song.

The man behind the idea, Rhama Aprian, Head Mixologist of Above Eleven Bali is proud to be able to express his passion ignited by countless memories he has experienced on the island.
